1. Early Intervention - New Hyde Park NY

11 HOURS PER WEEK

$40 PER HOUR

Music Therapy Project is looking for an Independent Contractor-Music Therapist to work at an early intervention program in New Hyde Park, 3 days per week for a total of 11 hours (preferably W, Th, & F) starting September 2008.  Work in an early intervention classroom setting providing group therapy sessions to children with speech and language delays and varied disabilities. Bachelors or Masters required, and Board Certified preferred.

2. Children's After School/Weekend Program -  Garden City Long Island

4 HOURS PER WEEK

$40 PER HOUR

Music Therapy Project is looking for an Independent Contractor-Music Therapist to work at a Children's Creative Arts Therapy Program in Garden City Long Island on Wednesday and Friday from 4:30-5:30 and Saturdays 11-1 providing group music therapy sessions to children with special needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Bachelors or Masters, and Board Certified preferred. Will also accept an experienced graduate student.

3. Children's After School Program - Glendale Queens NY

2 HOURS PER WEEK

$40 PER HOUR

Music Therapy Project is looking for an Independent Contractor-Music Therapist to work at a Children's after school Program in Glendale Queens on Monday and Wednesday providing sessions for children with special needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder. Bachelors or Masters and Board Certified preferred. Will also accept an experienced graduate student.

4. Adult MRDD - Bronx NY

2 HOURS PER WEEK

$40 PER HOUR

Music Therapy Project is looking for an Independent Contractor-Music Therapist to work at an Adult MRDD Day Habilitatin setting in the Bronx on Fridays providing two sessions between 10am and 12 Noon. Bachelors or Masters required, and Board Certified preferred.

5. Children in Acute Care Setting - Bronx NY Lincoln Medical Center

4-5 HOURS PER WEEK

$40 PER HOUR

Music Therapy Project is looking for an Independent Contractor-Music Therapist to work in an acute care setting for children at Lincoln Medical Center one day a week for 4-5 hours. Individual and group therapy sessions. Bachelors or Masters required, and Board Certified preferred.

6. Children/Teens in Foster Care - Jamaica Queens

HOURS TO BE ARRANGED

$40 PER HOUR

Music Therapy Project is looking for an Independent Contractor-Music Therapist to work within a home care/foster care setting in Jamaica Queens. Individual, family, and sibling groups. Experience with teen groups and popular urban/hip-hop musical styles a plus. Bachelors or Masters required, and Board Certified preferred.

7. Adult MRDD Group Home- Bayridge Brooklyn

1 HOUR PER WEEK
$40 PER HOUR
 

Music Therapy Project is looking for an Independent Contractor-Music Therapist to work with an adult MRDD group in Bayridge Brooklyn for one session, one night a week after 6pm. Bachelors or Masters required, and Board Certified preferred.
